Solihull Approach ‘Free’ Parenting Courses for ALL

Type of support

As part of our Family Hub and Start for Life Programme,  Solent NHS now has a range of parenting courses available for free and no referral required for any family living in Portsmouth. The online courses are live and accessible and go from pregnancy up to teenage years. They courses are focused on preparation for parenting and emotional wellbeing with a strong focus on relationships and development of secure attachment. Next year Solent will have facilitated courses, both face to face and virtual, available for the antenatal and post natal courses for first time parents and those on Tier 3/ Tier 4 caseloads. There will also be an ‘understanding your child’ offer.
