Advice Portsmouth provides free, independent, impartial and confidential advice to people living in the PO1-PO6 areas of Portsmouth. Our purpose is to give the right advice and appropriate support to help clients solve their problems.  Qualified professionals, support staff and dedicated volunteers provide general and specialist advice on:

  • family
  • consumer law

Non Violent Resistance (NVR)

Type of support

This is for parent/ carers with children who show violent, aggressive, controlling or self destructive behaviour. A  ten week course providing NVR strategies to help build positive relationships. This course is followed up with access to monthly drop in sessions after the group
